Many instructors think of evaluation as simply a form at the end of the class, the traditional smile sheets that have the learners rate the instructor, content, and environment.  This article contends that evaluation really begins at the time the learner registers for class, continues during class so that the instructor can gauge and adjust to the learners’ needs, and, most importantly continues after class to ensure training has made a difference back on the job.  Contributor Susan Boyd provides seven sample evaluation forms to be used throughout this process.
