Strips, Purpose, Light, Yellow, eurofighter, fueselage, typhoon's


Question by Bradders: What is the purpose of the light yellow strips on the eurofighter typhoon's fueselage?

These strips are glow in the dark and are several meters long and a few inches wide. There are 2 strips located horizantally along the fueselage below the cockpit. There is also a vertical strip on the leading edge of the tail section. Does anyone know their purpose?

Yes, they are low-intensity formation lights. Used in no-lights profiles.
