Client wanted more color :-P
This one goes along the lines of gradient experimentation.

This one is in a square format.
PS: tweaked the colors so that they were web friendly, the printed colors will be darker :-P

Am I the only one to think that the new Events stuff is an amazing concept but poorly executed? What's with those ugly über-rounded corners and highlights/shadows/reflections effect? So tacky?

Why didn't Apple integrate the Coverflow effect instead?

Imagine, you're browsing your events scrolling right and left, with the pictures of the selected event appearing at the bottom, à la iTunes.
