Current, Secondary, circuit, transformer, generates

Question by KJ:

What generates the current in the secondary circuit of the transformer?

In a step down transformer, what generates the current in the secondary? I would like to know in as much detail as possible.

Thanks in advance!

electromagnetic induction is the awnser!

coils of wire wrapped round the primary terminal creates a magnetic field when an alternating current is flowing and a magnetic field and a current is induced in the secondary proportional to the amount of turns on the ratio of the primary and secondary
