an audiobook is a thing for ipods that reads a book to you, but what do you call it if it's just the text from the book and no audio? also can it be put on an ipod?

A PDF, and I'm pretty sure that there's a way to do that.

Unless you are talking about a book. In which case you can put it on top of a book.
