I ran through couple of sites like Merrell, La Sportiva but non of these have a store in bangalore, india. Can anyone tell me where i can get good hiking shoes in bangalore ?

Even the brands like Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma doesn't sell shoes by categorizing them as Running or Basketball or Hiking. And also none of the Lifestyle, ShoppersStop like stores carry them. I don't remember finding one in the sports shop either.

Common people still views shoes as fashion accessory.

Check Woodlands as they sell some Timberland shoes. Otherwise check WildCraft stores who sell gears for hiking and adventure trips.

Wildcraft can be found in Commercial Street, Jayanagar 3rd Block, Koramangala

There are some upscale stores in Lavelle Road between Kasturiba Road (end of MG Road towards Cubbon park) and Church Street. Try it out in that area.
